I wanted to tell a story about love in a period of time where we need more of it. I chose to make it a silent film in part a reference to the birth of film but also in order to fully convey the story through movement and imagery; as such is the nature of a mime. As for including animation, it was meant to represent the imagination and what our minds can create to combat or elevate the real world. Points of inspiration include Fellini and Chaplin..
