04.16 is about a young marriage crumbling, not for lack of love but because the lives they lead are just not compatible with each other.

Young married couple Carter and Lisa's plans for their anniversary are foiled when Carter is called into work by his father. Lisa and Carter do their best to finish their respective tasks--Lisa their anniversary dinner, Carter his work--on time for their 6pm dinner plans.

This film was one of my attempts at cracking into and exploring the complexities of a relationship, which has been one of the world's greatest mysteries for me.
