Prasanna Sellathurai is an award winning filmmaker and physics graduate from the South East of England. Prasanna's one minute film, "Falling", won first place in ScreenSpace's "Change Our Minds In 2 Minutes" competition. It also screened at several film festivals around the world including 60SIFF which screened "Falling" at the BFI Southbank. As a student filmmaker, Prasanna made seven short films. Two of these films won Durham Student Film Society's annual script funding scheme and the most recent film was screened at a private film event Prasanna organised. He is always trying to learn about film: Prasanna has undertaken an internship at Film 4 Productions and has volunteered for the Sundance Institute.
