Nisha Ganatra

Nisha Ganatra has made her mark as a director in television and film. Her acclaimed début feature, Chutney Popcorn won Audience Awards and Best Feature Awards at the Berlin International Film Festival, Newport Film Festival, Outfest, Frameline The San Francisco Gay and Lesbian Film Festival and many more. Her next feature, Cosmopolitan, premiered at the South by Southwest Film Festival.

She has directed numerous episodes of television including Girls, Dear White People, Mr. Robot, Shameless, Brooklyn 9-9, Last Man On Earth, Love, and the upcoming Black Monday. On FX’s Better Things, she served as the producing director for the first season. As the producing director for the first season of Transparent she won a Golden Globe and was nominated for an Emmy. She serves on the board of Women in Film.
