About this submission

Wingspan Lifespan is an experimental video that contemplates aging through a juxtaposition with the natural circle of life of a butterfly. It roots from an interest in life changes, presence, and loss through caretaking experiences with elderly individuals. As a caretaker, I participated in conversations regarding each phase of life and began expressing these concepts through my video work. This project incorporates audio excerpts from various viewpoints on aging. Visuals were created through digital imaging in Adobe Photoshop and transferred to Adobe Premiere.
