It’s been a tough year. I’ve dealt with the loss of my mom and health issues like a herniated disc. I couldn’t walk/stand for more than three minutes and was struggling creatively from it. Though I’ve gotten better, I had to use the remaining time to get creative. At Sundance, I cast people I met there as I was determined to make this film there and not give up. I want to show Ignite the determination I have and making this on $0. I’ve made shorts at different budget levels with crews, but I wanted to get personal.
