In 2022 I had a really rough life changing year. My Aunt passed away from cancer. I had a really hard time coping with her death. At the time, I was in school full time so I didn’t really have time to process it fully. I dived into working more to distract myself from grieving. I ended up with two jobs and burning myself out physically and emotionally and the only thing I wanted to do is get away. I used this film to tell my story and get away at the same time.
