For me, filmmaking is all about collisions. This short story was inspired by the collisions that are present in everyday life: audio/visual, joy/disgust, and clarity/confusion, to name a few. These juxtapositions (perhaps fittingly) work both to focus and distract us from intrinsic societal issues. Tuned In presents some of the contradictions that are currently apparent to me, in a manner inspired by the world of experimental filmmaking.
