Daya Jonés, a recently retired middle-aged mother is getting remarried and leaving her home to her two young daughters, Aiko and Montana. New to adulthood, Aiko basks in her potential and rapidly growing independence, whereas, Montana’s sudden career change and pressure of edging closer to thirty intensifies the need of her mother, ultimately distancing the sisters.
Set on Daya’s final day in her home, Aiko and Montana’s conflicting emotions and heightened insecurities towards their mother’s leaving brings a new found vulnerability and much needed change to their relationship dynamic.
