Based on a true story, "Space Coast" is a historical drama in which Devon's coming-of-age journey directly parallels the retirement of NASA's space shuttle program in 2011. The film follows three students at Astronaut High School as their hometown of Titusville, Florida slowly withers away due to a decline in the local job market and tourism industry. Against the backdrop of a changing landscape, Devon must confess her feelings for her best friend Margot before it's too late.
