"Sojourn" is very important to me. When I was four, my mother and I were homeless. We had nowhere to go and nobody to be with. We were fortunate enough not to have to live that life for very long, but the small taste we got of it was extremely tough. Since then, I've had the privilege of conversing with the homeless community in my city about their experiences. These conversations inspired me to tell their stories and as a result, I created the character, Beau. Soon after, Sojourn was born.
