I was very much inspired by Marc Bolan’s show “Marc” and old top of the pops clips. I wanted to make a fake show that felt like it was from the 70s and to have all these great bands perform on it —however the bands wouldn’t always be human or from this world, and usually they’d have some comedic moral tale to tell through their song. Each episode would have a different lesson and different musical guest. I wanted to use it as a way to explore my desires to perform, play music, do drag, and animate.
