About this submission

I wrote this short film dedicated to my late grandpa, Jeane La Salle, who passed away 10 years ago. One of the props used in the film he carried around with him when he fought in the Korean War. I thought of time travel as a way to communicate with him and how amazing that would be if I could. During the filming of this movie, it's almost like he was there. He was a man of faith and rarely do I see those kind of stories told in a way that does not "beat you over the head" with that sort of content. Shiprock, 1952 is my love letter to sci fi, westerns, and my grandfather, Jeane La Salle.
