Reclamation is an intimate character study of J, a trans non-binary dancer who attempts to re-establish their ballet career as a female. J is seeking for rediscovery within their body and disconnected lands (London and Gibraltar). This is a raw, honest and deeply moving film, told through the treasure of friendship. It is a personal tale, but also touches on broader social issues that trans people face across the globe, as well as questioning general western stereotypes without imposing a particular agenda but through the exploration of J's human experience.
