A group of East Asian women audition for the role of a robotic servant. This is a film about race, gender, technology, and language. It's my goal to interrogate cinema as an equivocal ground where these different imaginaries intersect in ways that, I think, are often more complex than what the contemporary discourse of "representation" might suggest.
