While stuck in quarantine, I gravitated towards doing an animated project in the world of ghosts because like ghosts we were stuck in place in one place for so long.

Ghost stories typically involve the same generation of people who did between 1880-1920. I thought it would be really interesting to tell a story about generational conflict mirroring the cultural clash between boomers and millennials but using the vocabulary of a haunted hotel.
