About this Video
I made this film as an exploration of emotions I have felt on my past birthdays. I like to make films about a feeling I am stuck with, in the hopes of realizing the solution by the time the film is finished. Although my first goal in filmmaking is to help myself with a problem, my secondary goal is to connect others through shared experience. We all have birthdays. I think most of us are always met with similar feelings of loneliness, and in the end realization that all we really need is ourself.
