Throughout this documentary-fiction film, my character and I are both in search of the dolce far niente ("the sweet pleasure of doing nothing"). By carefully researching the visual representations of Yugoslavia's post-WW2 condition, the film dwells on the spaces that exist between being an active member of society, and wanting to sleep the worries away under a lemon and/or orange tree on an excruciating summer day. It also navigates an a-historical condition of what it means to be young, to be a woman, to be in love, all while thinking about sitting around all day.
