On the last episode of the series Marianne and Connell (Normal People) are back in Dublin and together as a couple until Connell receives news that he has been offered a place to study in New York.
Marianne goes to meet Connell in New York a few months later. The love between the two seems as strong as before but Frankie comes along. Marianne and Frankie will discover to have a common secret and this time Connell has nothing to do with it but the situation will leave him not indifferent.
