The intention for this piece was to observe an artist in work; to shift the focus of artistry from output to 'the process'.

A major inspiration for telling this story came from looking at my own creative process and a fascination with other artists’ approaches to creativity. The wonderful ways in which every artist approaches their craft - a self-developed dogma.

For Adam to invite me into his space and articulate his attitude to songwriting was remarkably illuminating. Our time in the studio offered an astounding opportunity to reveal both the individual and the community and culture that surround them.
