I chose it because when i made it I was in a space of thinking flexibly about my particular experiences with clothes. I think I was able to tell a story that many other poor first gen people will be able to relate to but in a way that only I can tell it. I was able to tap into elements of surrealism that I treasure in my work and used it to tell a story about something I didn't think about that often before hand.
