Be Like Brigitte: A Rescuing Leftover Cuisine Documentary

Brigitte Harris rescued 18,436 pounds of excess food in less than one year. She began volunteering with Rescuing Leftover Cuisine in May of 2020 during the height of the pandemic. A proud Liberian-American, Brigitte has a deep and profound passion for helping people dealing with food insecurity. Every week, Brigitte rides her bike around NYC delivering these food donations to pantries, shelters, etc around the city. Brigitte is a heroic example of the positive impact one person can have in their community. She is a dear friend of mine, and I believe her story needs to be shared.
