When the war started, I headed straight for my grandparent’s old house at the border of Ukraine and filmed with a 28 year old refugee mother that left Ukraine and took shelter in Romania, with some relatives that she didn't even know that well. It presents the frenzy of the entire family trying to get documents for her one year old child. I went into Ukraine to get some documents for her from her doctor. I also went to Milan to film with this refugee. She went there to visit her mother and celebrate the child's birthday.
