My project tells a story about a young man who, while facing the reform of urbanization, discovers that all his childhood friends have changed as their village vanishes. Although feeling insecure, he decides to stay the same. I named this story "Anyuan Unusual," with Anyuan being the name of my hometown. This narrative stems from my strong urge to film my hometown.
