Leon Ristov

Leon Ristov is an emerging director from North Macedonia. He got his break in the film industry with a lead role in the Berlinale-premiering When the Day Had No Name (2017) by acclaimed auteur Teona Mitevska. Leon's sophomore short, I’m Calling Your Father (2020), world-premiered at the Sarajevo Film Festival and screened internationally, winning a Grand Prix on two separate occasions. He is an alumnus of Talents Sarajevo, holding a B.A. in Film Studies from Wesleyan University in the United States.
