I've always been fascinated by the themes of death & grief and how we as humans have our own experiences of it. I decided to make this film after thinking about the dreams my parents and I had about our relatives who recently passed away, and how we each had similar dreams of them visiting us. I thought about how my grandfather was alone after my grandmother passed, and the sense of loneliness he must've felt. I made a film that felt cathartic to anyone who has lost someone close to them and I hope it brings closure.

I wanted to make a film dealing with themes of guilt, grief, and forgiveness while only having from sunrise to sunset to confront it. This is an emotionally personal story that relays the same feelings I've had over people I've lost in my life, which have built over the years and culminated into stories such as this. Occasionally, I find myself lost in nostalgia, reflecting on old videos of myself and loved ones that bring joy and sadness. I wanted to conceptualize those moments to tell a story around finding closure that could resonate with others.
