Martin Awano is a filmmaker and director of photography based in New York and Chicago. He is a DOC NYC Video Consortium Storytelling Fellow and a Fulbright-National Geographic Semi-Finalist. He has filmed for PBS, Frontline, and Discovery. He is part of the leadership team for The Video Consortium and is a co-leader of The Filmshop’s Docshop.
