About this submission

Aiming to explore themes of isolation and longing, "closer" plays with the passing of time, while also mining the freedom and spontaneity that can arise from solitude. It can be scary and overwhelming to go through life alone sometimes, and expectations can grow heavy. Through movement and poetry, "closer" strives to capture this feeling of searching for yourself in the wake of loudness and opposition.
