Rosi, a 30-year-old illegal immigrant from Mexico, Is working as a caregiver and maid for Ms. Harp, a 75-year-old woman struggling with Dementia. After Rosi hears her mother is severely sick. She calls Sam, the son of Ms. Harp, and pleads if she can take some time off. Sam promises to help her receive her visa if Rosi stays with his mother. Rosi struggles if she should stay and not waste her only opportunity to get her visa. Or leave for Mexico to see her mother for the last time.
Enrique Cruz Torres is a Mexican American Filmmaker. Born in Santa Fe, New Mexico, and partially raised in Chihuahua, Mexico. Enrique grew up in a Spanish-speaking household; he discovered and quickly understood the power of film and visual media as a universal language.
