Giulia Asquino was born in Rome, Italy, and is currently based in London. Her artistic journey began at the young age of 5 when she started studying ballet, training at prestigious institutions such as the Royal Academy of Dance in London and the Rome Ballet. Alongside her ballet training, she also developed a passion for singing and pursued formal education in this field at the Conservatory of the Accademia di Santa Cecilia in Rome. While working with a ballet company in New York in 2018, Giulia discovered her true calling in acting. Intrigued by this newfound passion, she enrolled in the renowned Susan Batson Studio in New York in 2019 to explore her acting abilities. It was during this time that she crossed paths with Alexander Rockwell, an acclaimed American independent director, who recognized Giulia's natural talent despite her just 3 months of studying. Encouraged by this encounter, she continued to refine her acting skills, studying at esteemed institutions such as the Guildhall and the National Youth Theatre in London. Giulia also had the opportunity to participate in workshops with esteemed casting directors like Judy Henderson and Jane Jenkins, who recognized her exceptional qualities and unwavering passion. In 2020, Giulia embarked on her journey to London, where she encountered an audition for the Stella Adler Studio in Los Angeles. Determined to further her craft, she seized the opportunity and eventually graduated from Stella Adler in Los Angeles in 2021. Throughout her training, Giulia delved into various acting techniques, including the Stella Adler and Susan Batson methods, as well as the Strasberg and Stanislavsky approaches. Giulia's talent has graced both the screen and the stage, with appearances in several short films and theatrical performances. Notably, she showcased her multifaceted skills as an actress, director, and writer in her short film titled "When I Met You." Her commitment to her craft and versatility shine through her work, captivating audiences with her pure and genuine performances, as the casting director Lucy Jordan described her performances. Giulia Asquino's dedication to her artistry, coupled with her diverse training background and natural talent, positions her as a rising star in the acting world.
