Searching for answers in contemporaneity and charged with constant friction between past and present, real and simulated, Portuguese and English, the film targets urgent matters of contemporary society. Motivated by the creation and propagation of misinformation by those in power in Brazil, summed with the increasing tech push towards selling the creation of digital environments in developed countries, reality itself becomes liquid. Therefore, by tracing parallels between the creation of a VR environment and the great voyages, the film highlights these behaviors against a history of Brazilian colonization and utopian creations attempting to create something new and drifting onto totalitarianism.
