Sophmore year in high school, while studying at a military boarding school, I experienced first hand cycles of violence within my community. I felt as if I was the only one who could see them because no one did anything about them. However, as I got older and were promoted to higher ranks, I was able to make a change. And after 2 years of not being able to put my feelings into words, it was finally in my senior year 2021, where I made 'Violent Cycles' and was able to express my true experience, not with words, but film.
