My story explored the toll of "development" and capitalism on indigenous tribe. They often pay for this development with their land and labour, but do not reap the benefits of it. Further, India is the 3rd most vulnerable country in the world to climate change. The film was made in the region of India which is the most vulnerable and is already facing erosion and devastating floods. Mindless development is only making this worse and the biggest victims are the indigenous people. The film is a protest, a cry for help and an ode to these people, all at once
