About this submission

It's challenging to face the past when old wounds resurface and new truths are discovered, altering one’s perspective and sense of self. In Todo A Su Tiempo, Daze Flores alchemizes painful life experiences—and five years of healing—into an 11-minute self-portrait documentary, all made possible with Flores’s audio diary entries, ephemera, and their will to affirm others. Though challenging to face the past, Flores vividly notes vulnerability as a balm for old wounds and a source of their inner strength.
