About this Video
The film is about abject women. How a society perceives them, forms an image and projects it to others. How we as a society are shaping our next generations, passing on the prejudices attached with gender, caste & class to them. The beauty of this story is the curiosity of the child & the mistress of the house being enamoured by a woman, who they momentarily saw.

An interdisciplinary filmmaker born in the resistance- rich region of Bundelkhand and raised in New Delhi, India. My cinema is rooted in - belongingness, identity, search for home, resistance, and memory. I am a graduate of the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), where I studied film direction. And under the mentorship of Béla Tarr, completed my diploma film Rising Tide, which explores intergenerational conflict and land politics in a region marked by indigenous resistance. I am inspired by literature, paintings and regional cultures.
