“Taiyō no Kage” (“太陽の影”) The Sun’s Shadow is a Documentary currently in production, exploring the shadowed subculture of American Craftsmen who create Japanese-style Katana and Swords. The documentary showcases two essential aspects. That of the American Artisans who painstakingly recreate these Japanese-style swords and the uncovering of a legacy that for generations laid hidden in the shadow of an elusive history. The fulfillment; is the purposeful creation of the traditional Japanese sword or “Nihonto.”
