"The Not So Flightless, Flightless Bird" is an ode to the Asian American experience, my personal quest back to my roots while studying at the Beijing Film Academy, the sudden interruption of an unprecedented virus, and the shattering of my then so certain perspective. It is a thesis of my beliefs and my view of overcoming. Growing up told that I "cannot", as both an Asian American and as a labeled "bubble" kid in my compilations with health, I am choosing to tell this story as a reminder - to myself, past, present and future, and to those like me.
