Referencing Henry Fuseli’s 1781, The Nightmare, this art film serves as a surrealist commentary on inauthenticity and the lack of originality in the art world today. A parody of masterpiece recreations and a personal tragedy of the artist themselves. Tying in aspects of masculinity and sexuality with references to mythology and superstition. The surrealist section mimics reality and the movement of the scene to exemplify the objective absurdity of the artist's intention.
