Drawn to abstractionism and the exploration of realist concepts, I sought to make a film that explored a strange superpower that few people tend to pay attention to. Lucid dreaming is a deep interest and passion of mine. With the Lucid King, I wanted to specifically examine the possibility that a proficient Lucid Dreamer loses sight of reality and gets consumed by a sick-like desire to stay in her perfect dreamland - how wrong is it really to want such a feat if she has the means to fulfil it?
