As someone with an anaphylactic dairy allergy, I wanted to make something that represented what I go through daily just trying to eat. The film showcases how scary living with a condition like this can be and how absurd it is. Through the lens of horror and comedy, The Hat Man depicts the reality and surrealness of living with a food allergy.
