Originally designed as a two-channel installation experience of 'cinepic poetry', this combined composition brings a reimagined cycle of folktale to the screen. A potent exploration of queer and trans identity across ancient and modern culture, the work brings together documentary-style footage, performance art, original poetry, and experimental audio-visuals to reconstitute the classic hero's journey for the marginalized subject. Winner of the 2023 Dick Wolf Cinema and Media Studies Award for Best Creative Honors Thesis.
