The film is inspired by the painting The Toilet of Venus (‘The Rokeyby Venus’) by Diego Velazquez in The National Gallery, London. In this painting, Venus is toward a mirror, but she seems to be looking at someone behind her.

This is a story about a teenage girl. She saves the heartbroken girl she has peeping, as well as herself. The story is about young women’s desire and self-growth, told in a dreamy and psychological way, which is an approach I enjoyed and explored in several works of mine.
