Coming out as a gay Indian woman to my family was a long, complicated journey that I hold close to my heart. Being on the other side of that journey inspired me to reflect through my primary medium of film. I hope to connect with other gay Indian women as we do not see ourselves on the screen terribly often, and I hope to entertain, or inspire inclusion and acceptance for those who don't have those identities. Overall, this film is a culmination of my personal journey, my desire to represent minorities, and my love for entertainment.
