No longer obscured with the hustle and bustle, the quiet of New York City’s lockdown and the fleeing of New York’s non-permanent residents, the filmmaker is led to rediscover the beauty, history, and culture of her neighborhood in Harlem. Through the lense of second and third generation residents, a love letter is written to a community that has been an anchor of black life in New York City.
