I wanted to show the reality of mental health, grief and depression when dealing with the loss of a past lover. The feeling that it's too late and you could've done more while they were still alive.

It was important to me, being LATINX, to shoot the film in the Spanish language and use actors born in Latin America. Representation of LATINX actors is extremely important to me.
