It was my first year in New York City, and I felt a sense of loss and being trapped in this city. There is a train station on a bridge near my apartment. Everyday, I hear the harsh noise coming above me, which becomes a motif that triggers my loneliness and discomfort. There were some attacks targeting Asian people in the subway stations during that time. All these events and experiences become the inspiration of the film. I want to reproduce some extent of my feeling through film.
