As a longtime Floridian, every year more and more snowbirds (the elderly) trickle into the state and stay longer and longer. I wanted to make something as an ode to all the unexplainable conversations, run-ins, and recklessly slow drivers who played a role in my upbringing. The phenomenon of Americans treating their elderly population almost like inconveniencing children is something I've always found so astounding. Creating a story that revolved around this world provided me the chance to really be creative in including some of this region's landmarks and hidden wonders this landscape has to offer.
