I wrote this film at the start of the pandemic where cases of discrimination and hate toward Asian-Canadians was prevalent. The film is about a young man from an immigrant family chasing the "American Dream". It is a film that imagines alternate realities with themes of identity and transformation. Logline: A young man dreams of becoming a fashion designer but is confined to work at his family's convenience store under the eye of his single-mother. I wanted to create an experimental narrative that goes on a journey with the fast-paced electronic grunge beats composed by Ted Carrick.
