At Death’s Door is a short film based on the business of dying versus the emotional reality of a family. Two undertakers come to the door ready to quickly take the corpse and run but oftentimes, there is no set schedule for death.

Pamela Winfrey is an award-winning screenwriter, playwright, and novelist as well as a curator specializing in art/science/tech. She has received a Sloan grant, was a finalist for Arts and Letters, received an audience favorite award at Variations Theater (Manhattan), and in 2017 was a finalist for Roadmap’s Wise Words and a runner-up for the Citizen Jane Film Festival Production Grant. She recently wrote and produced “Desert Trilogy”, three short films that explore death in the American West (these are in post). She just received funding to complete a trailer on a web series called “Singularity in Love”. She is currently the Scientific Research Curator for two labs at Biodesign, a research facility attached to Arizona State University. She has curated exhibitions about brain/computer interface, digital clothing, human phenomena, cooperation, and cancer. She has a BA in theater, an MA in Interdisciplinary Arts, and an MFA in television and screenwriting. She just finished a historical fiction commission; a novel about the Italian architect, Palladio, and wrote one that has been published about Marconi.

Pamela Winfrey is an award winning playwright, screenwriter, and novelist and enjoys writing works that explore the relationship between surrealism, science, mental health, and perception. She is also the Scientific Research Curator for a cancer lab and a cooperation and conflict lab at Arizona State University. As a curator, she specializes in science, art, and technology. Desert Trilogy, a three part short film series she wrote and produced with writer Terry Selucky, is in post production.
