As a woman bred in an extremely conservative, religious household I wanted to create a comedic satire coupled with the freedom given to Amish teens on Rumspringa. Puberty is a labyrinth engulfed in the changing of hormones, physicality, and social expectations placed on women. Oftentimes, women raised in strict conservative environments are left uneducated and curious about sex, sexuality, and their own bodies.
